A great first day at Camp merveille!

Our friend from the exploration center on "Meet the Teacher Night" came out to say hello later in the evening. One of our campers called him our mascot - The Camp Merveille Escargot!

MERCI and INFORMATION

Camp Merveille begins tomorrow! We are very excited to begin the program.

Thank you very much to all of the families that were able to attend our 'Meet the Teacher' event. We were excited to see so much enthusiasm and are really looking forward to 'Camp Merveille'. 

 Some important notes:

• June 29- Giles is open from - 11:45 -2:45 for program and activities. Parents are welcome to stay. Please bring a lunch.
• July 1st is a holiday as it is Canada Day.
• July 30 - July 17 - light breakfast from 8:40-9:00, 9:00 am start and pick-up at 2:45.  
• A light breakfast and snacks are provided. Students should bring their own lunch and lots of water to drink.
• Drop off and pick up is on the East side of Giles on Parent. If it is raining, pick up will be in the library.
• Please remember to pack a garbageless lunch for Fighting Island trips.
• Please send a towel, spray sunscreen, and have your child dress in their swimsuit if possible on swim days.
• If you live close to one of our field trip locations and would like to meet us there before or after, please let us know.
• Attendance is important. Please contact us before 8:45 if your child is absent for any reason. Attendance line (519)996-5289.

Revised Calendar

Please note that we have made some revisions to the calendar due to Fighting Island needing to remove the ferry from the water for painting.  We will provide you with a print copy on July 29.

Welcome to Camp Merveille 2015. We are looking forward to embarking on a journey of French language, literacy, culture and fun! We will be using this blog to communicate key information with our families. This blog will be updated often with reminders and important information regarding upcoming events.
