Thank you very much to Jumpstart for an amazing day. This year is their 10th anniversary and within the next six weeks they will have supported one million children.

Fitness Fun and Métis Beadwork - July 13

Thank-you to both of our wonderful guests that came to visit at Camp Merveille today! This morning Mlle Cardinal shared some history on Métis culture as we shared and reflected on our own backgrounds. She also brought in some Métis beadwork which inspired many of our campers to do some bead art of their own. She also baked and brought in bannock bread from a recipe that has been in her family for generations. Yum!! This afternoon M. Shane was at Giles once again for Fitness Fun and set up a variety of great outdoor fitness activities. Merci beaucoup!
