July 9th

Although we were not able to go to Fighting Island today, we had a wonderful day of learning at Camp Merveille. Dennis and Pat, our teachers on the island, came to Giles to answer questions and share lots of interesting facts. They also gave us the great idea to go on a worm hunt at the school! We did go outside to document how many worms we could find, and our campers shared other great discoveries and questions! We also worked in our zones and many students continued to design their paper airplanes, which we later tested out in the gym.
